There is not one person I know, including myself, that is ordinary. What does that word even mean?
or·di·nar·y ˈôrdnˌerē/
adjective
adjective: ordinary
with no special or distinctive features; normal.
Each person is beautiful, different, amazing, talented, successful, extraordinary.
ex·traor·di·nar·y
ikˈstrôrdnˌerē,ˌekstrəˈôrdn-/
adjective
very unusual or remarkable.
Don't let the word "ordinary" hold you back from achieving your dreams, goal, happiness. There are no two people alike and I think that is something to be thankful for. How boring would life be if we were all the same?
You know "they" always say that opposites attract...and I think it's true. Every time you find a friend, partner, soul mate - you have things in common with them, sure, but you also see the differences in them too.
It's the differences that make life so much fun. My daughter is the most extraordinary person and I am so grateful that I get to be her mother and watch her grow up and develop. She is always learning new things and makes me act like a (big) kid again; playing, dancing, laughing, seeing the beauty in the little things.
Remove that little word "ordinary" from your vocabulary that has such a way of making someone feel like less than they are...
End!

great pics!
ReplyDeletehow can we be ordinary when we serve an extraordinary God?
Hi! Just visiting from the FMF linkup. Loved that thought-- that ordinary places limits on us and can hold us back. Thanks for sharing :)
